Uukha team at Invalides !
What an incredible summer we all had! France and its capital Paris were at the forefront of sportive events for almost a month in total this summer, with such phenomenal athletes!
These Olympic Games were unforgettable for everyone: stunning sites, an incredible atmosphere, and record-breaking moments. Highlights include French swimmer Léon Marchand, Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis, Cuban wrestler Mijaín López winning his 5th Olympic title, and Dominican runner Marileidy Paulino's amazing 400m.
Archery at the Invalides was also spectacular !
France and Turkey both celebrated their first Olympic medals in the men’s team event. Korean archer Lim Sihyeon set a new world record with 694 and South Korea women team won its 10th straight team title! On Paralympic Games, Guillaume Toucoullet, our pro staff hold the new paralympic record setting a stunning score of 652 over 72 arrows.
We were fortunate to be at Les Invalides on September 4th for the recurve open men finals, where we had the chance to cheer on Guillaume.
But he left too soon the competition against the Colombian Hector Julio Ramirez.
Congrats to him, congrats to all archers from French team and of course all athletes engaged to this incredible competition!
Uukha is proud to have been part of it all. Many thanks to Guillaume for your trust, to Paris hosting us and to the IOC.
Long live sport and archery!
