They've joined #TeamUukha !

Thousands of schoolchildren are back to school and we are delighted to welcome 2 newcomers to our 'classroom' ! Well, newcomers... it's more like 2 archery greats joining Team Uukha!

Alicia Baumert and Jérôme Bidault begin the new season representing our brand and it's a safe bet that our squirrel will help them reach the top!

So...who are they ?

Alicia Baumert (24 years old) 

Alicia, already an experienced hunter bow archer, was eager to explore other disciplines, so she picked up barebow archery starting 2023 season. Her year was nothing short of amazing: selected for the French team, she brought home six medals out of six possible from her European campaign in Italy, competing in both European field and 3D championships. 

This season, the archer from South-of-France Laurens club, ranked 3rd in French Elite Field Championship and became French 3D champion, is determined to give it her all at World Field and 3D championships in Canada and Slovenia.

Jérôme Bidault (45 years old) 

Jérôme started archery back in 1990 and quickly earned a spot on National Youth Team. More than thirty years later, he’s still one of France’s top archers across all disciplines, especially in indoor archery (finishing 2nd in Lausanne, 3rd in the JVD Open, and reaching the finals in Vegas this year) and field archery. 

Jérôme has really made a name for himself in field archery, with numerous national titles, a European Championship win in 2013, and a 3rd place at the World Championships in 2014. In just a few days, he'll be competing in his 5th World Championships at Lac La Biche.

After partnering with Uukha for the first time in 2009, Jérôme chose us again for “the finesse of the limbs and the feeling of smoothness at full draw, which helps maintain a certain level of relaxation and a smooth release.”
