Swiss Open Lausanne: 1st round of Indoor World Series.
First round of Indoor World Series was held from 1st to 3rd November, of course attended by one of our Prostaff, Jérôme Bidault.
This year marks the beginning of a new Olympiad and indoor season is set to showcase world’s best archers across World Cup's rounds.
Jérôme Bidault, who finished second in this same tournament last year, was determined to put in a top performance with his SX+.
Jérôme faced tough competition, going up against Olympic archers like Atanu Das (India), Nicholas d'Amour (Virgin Islands), Italians Federico Musolesi and Alessandro Paoli, as well as the Turkish bronze medalists from Paris, Abdullah Yildirmis and Mete Gazoz.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go Jérôme’s way in this first stage and he finished 37th. But there’s no time to rest, with a rematch already scheduled at Kings of Archery from November 8th to 10th.
In the men’s recurve category, first-round win went to Italian Alessandro Paoli who led the competition from qualifiers to finals.
