Travel through time and space!

Uukha is the only French manufacturer of Olympic bows, renowned for its groundbreaking Monolith Carbon technology.

But what’s the story behind our name and logo?

A name meaning Victory

Our name comes from the steppes of Mongolia, inspired by their traditions, especially the Naadam festival.

Naadam is Mongolia's largest traditional festival and country's national holiday. Celebrated across the nation, it highlights the three traditional sports that are true symbols of Mongolian history and lifestyle: horse racing, wrestling, and of course, archery!

Competitors have to hit very small targets and when they do, the referee shouts "Uukhaï", which means "Congratulations" or "Hurrah" for a perfectly shot arrow !

Since Uukhaï stands for precision and the joy of success, it was the right choice... and it became Uukha!

Flying squirrel doesn’t actually fly, it glides. But when it’s in action, this tiny rodent is lightning-fast, very steady and incredibly precise.
It was the perfect inspiration for our mascot !
And how can you not fall in love with this little animal ? It's so cute, isn't it ?!

A brand rooted in the art of archery, where tradition meets cutting-edge technology.

Driven by the relentless pursuit of precision and excellence, with joy as our constant companion.

So every arrow you release becomes a moment out of time...

That’s who we are.
