The world field championships have just finished. Congrats to all archers !
French team involved included two archers from #TeamUukha: Alicia Baumert and Jérôme Bidault.

In recurve men, our Prostaff Jérôme Bidault, competing in his 5th World Championships, faced tough competition with the presence of all discipline's top specialists. Among them were several archers fresh off the Olympics, like Germany's Florian Unruh, Slovenia's Ziga Ravnikar, and the legendary Brady Ellison.

With his SX+ in hand and finishing 10th in qualifying round, Jérôme couldn't get past Croatia's Alen Remar, losing a close match 88-90 in the Round of 16. In mixed team, Jérôme and Marie Lejeune were edged out by just one point against the Italian duo, who would go on to become 2024 World Champions. A similar fate awaited men team, narrowly defeated by Slovenia, who also went on to claim the 2024 World Championship title.

Great job Jérôme! Wishing you a speedy recovery and all the best for your upcoming indoor season!

After finishing 7th in qualifiers with her SX+, Alicia Baumert, competing in her first World Field Archery Championships, unfortunately bowed out in the Round of 16 to an opponent on fire, Spain’s Ana Maria Cano Garcia, who put up an impressive 86 points in this high level match.

In team event, alongside Elodie Baret and Marie Lejeune, the girls were eliminated in quarter-finals by Australia. There was hope for a medal in mixed team with David Jackson, but Alicia and her partner just missed the podium, finishing 4th.

We’re confident Alicia will turn this experience into a strength for her next big challenge: the 3D World Championships, set to take place from September 30th to October 6th, 2024, in Mokrice, Slovenia. All Uukha team is rooting for you in this exciting competition!

Well done and a huge thank you to all the archers from around the world who participated in this amazing Championship, showcasing some truly outstanding archery once again!
