Uukha is headed to the 2025 World Games in Chengdu!

13 mai 2025

From August 7 to 17, some of our Team Uukha archers will be in Chengdu, China, proudly representing their countries at the 2025 World Games.

We already know that Alicia Baumert and Aurélie Autret will be wearing the French colors (and our red flying squirrel! 🐿️🇫🇷)
But do you really know what makes this event so special?

What are the World Games?

An extraordinary global event for sports outside the Olympic spotlight.
While they may not be as famous or widely broadcast as the Olympic Games, the World Games are just as spectacular.

A "young" but powerful competition

Launched in 1981, the World Games shine a light on athletic diversity, giving talented athletes from non-Olympic disciplines a chance to compete on a world stage.
Their philosophy? Highlight emerging or lesser-known sports that are just as demanding and impressive as Olympic disciplines.

A rare and prestigious event

Like the Olympics, the World Games are held only once every four years - making each edition a must-watch.

Sports featured in 2025

This year's edition will feature 35 sports across 62 disciplines, including sport climbing, trampoline, wakeboarding, squash, karate… and of course, archery - with field archery and compound at 50 meters.
Over 5,000 athletes from around the globe will compete for top honors in their disciplines.

Archery schedule at  World Games

- Compound 50m: August 8–9
- Field archery: August 11–16

We'll be closely following all of our Uukha archers as they take on the world - let’s go Team Uukha! 💪🏹
