Uukha and Biodiversity! 🌿🐦

At our industrial site, we don’t just produce : we collaborate with nature too!

Located on a 340-hectare zone (yes, you read that right!), our site sits right between two major ecological corridors.

It means that it's a key location for wildlife, offering a vital link between biodiversity-rich areas.

So we asked ourselves a simple question: what can we do, all together, to protect species we share this space with?

The answer ? Plenty !

With the support of BIOTOP and the LPO (Bird Protection League), we've taken real action:
🐦 Installed nesting boxes for birds

🦇 Created shelters for bats

🦔 Built hideaways for hedgehogs

🌼 Monitored and preserved the plant life across our plots

🤝 And fostered a new kind of cooperation - between colleagues, and with nature

And what about chickadees? They seem pretty happy about it - and so are we!
