Uukha: between Mongolian tradition and a spirit of conquest
No, it’s not a local dialect!

“Uukha” name doesn’t come from French west coast where we’re based.
Our name actually comes from much farther away… from Mongolia 🇲🇳
It is a tribute to Mongolian archers, the first in history to engineer composite bows, mastering advanced materials and bow design centuries before anyone else.
Every July, during Mongolia’s National Festival, the Naadam, archery is one of the three official traditional disciplines, alongside wrestling and horse racing.
When an archer hits the target, judge shouts “UUKHAÏ!” - a victorious cheer giving our famous “Hurray!”, “Victory!” - raising both hands to honor the shot.
Over time, Uukhaï became an ancestral song symbolizing success and triumph.
And that spirit - power, mastery, and the drive to push further - has been part of our DNA since day one.

The flying squirrel isn’t just an adorable animal. 🐿️
It’s above all a symbol of speed and precision - able to glide effortlessly through the air, covering tens of meters from one tree to another with remarkable stability, speed, and accuracy.
Our mascot was found!
Speed. Precision. Control. Victory.
Everything that defines flying squirrel is also the very essence of our products: a constant pursuit of performance, comfort, and efficiency, so that every shot becomes a perfectly controlled action.

Our mantra: Feel The Flow.
Be where you’re meant to be. Here and now.
Focused and relaxed. Connected to yourself.
In the present moment.
Feel that everything is exactly in place, balanced and under control.
Because a perfect shot is never a coincidence and at the end of that focused energy lies victory.
That’s the flow - that perfect state for an athlete.
That’s Uukha.
