GT Open Strassen: Team Uukha on the field, and Florian Bossard just shy of the podium!

For this second stage of the Indoor World Series, four Uukha ambassadors travelled once again - this time to Luxembourg.

Two women and two men were on the line in Strassen last weekend: Jennifer Devaux, Audrey Machinet, Florian Bossard, and Antoine Michon.

After the qualification round, Jennifer and Audrey were sitting in 15th and 16th place, both scoring 571 points.

Unfortunately, both saw their competition end in the round of 1/16 finals. Final ranking for girls: 17th place.

While Antoine struggled a bit during his qualification round, Florian delivered another outstanding performance with 586 points.

Finishing 5th in qualifications, ahead of many top-level international athletes - including Olympic archers - Florian (current French Indoor Champion) once again confirmed his excellent form.

He then advanced through the elimination matches all the way to semifinals, where, after a fierce battle against Israel’s Roy Dror, current No. 1 in IWS ranking, Florian narrowly lost 4–6.

In the bronze medal match, podium slipped away as Rick Van der Ven left no room for error: 30–30–30–30.
Despite a superb performance, the Dutch archer took the win 6–2.

👏 Well done, Florian, for another outstanding result, placing him provisionally 4th in the IWS Elite ranking.

And congratulations to the entire Team for another great competition!
