African Outdoor Championships, Berlin Open, British Indoor National Championships, Midwest Open…

A few updates from our ambassadors at some great competitions over the past few weeks, past few days!

African Outdoor Championships

A major outing for Ryan Chan Yam, Mauritian archer, and all members of his delegation in late November in Abidjan.

Humidity, heat - in short, extremely demanding weather conditions that put bodies to the test.
Despite a strong 2nd place in qualifications, Ryan was unfortunately eliminated in the round of 1/8 finals.

Finishing 4th in mixed team, he still returns home with a team gold medal around his neck. 🥇

Berlin Open

From December 12 to 14, the 2025 edition of the Berlin Open took place, with many Team Uukha archers on the shooting line.

Denisa is back!


After more than a full month of forced rest following hand surgery, Denisa made her return at this major international event in Germany.
She delivered a strong 575 in qualifications, placing 11th overall.

She narrowly missed out in the quarterfinals against local favorite Michelle Kroppen, finishing 7th in the tournament.

6th place in barebow for Pawel Marchwica

Qualifying 10th with a score of 520 points, Pawel was also stopped in the quarterfinals and finished 6th at this year’s Berlin Open.

British Indoor National Championships

A fantastic weekend for René Bekker and Ollie Hicks!

Indoors or outdoors, our two ambassadors are always at the top of the British rankings!

Finishing 1st and 2nd in qualifications (552 for René, 549 for Ollie), both naturally went on to claim podium spots:

🥉 Bronze medal for Ollie Hicks

Also worth noting: a 3rd place team finish for our positive Scottish representative Joshua McMillan.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic…

Competition was fierce in the USA, with two more of our ambassadors standing on the podium at Midwest Open.

Luke Thornsbury and Alex De Vera, both members of the U.S. national barebow team, took 1st and 2nd place respectively — excellent preparation ahead of Lancaster Classic!

Meanwhile in Argentina, the National Field Archery Championships took place.
An outstanding competition for our ambassador Claudia Noemi Carcacha, who returns home with two gold medals - individual and mixed team. 🥇🥇
