European Field Championships 2025: Uukha ambassadors shine !

One month after World Games, Europe’s best archers gathered in Poland for the 2025 European Field Championships.

Among the 184 competitors across all categories, we were proudly represented by 9 Uukha ambassadors - both recurve and barebow - each determined to fight for the European Champion title.

Recurve

It was all about girl power with Marie Lejeune, Aurélie Autret, and Denisa Barankova, fresh from her gold medal at Chengdu World Games.

Strong qualifications for all three: Marie placed 8th, Aurélie 4th, and Denisa 3rd - breaking the symbolic 700-point mark for the very first time!

During matchs, they both fight and at this game, Aurélie, totally ON FIRE, had finished with silver medal !

Results for recurve women:
- Marie: 6th place
- Denisa: 4th place (losing the bronze final to Marie Horackova)
- Aurélie: 2nd place, Vice-European Champion 🥈 - shooting her Omega limbs in the final against Bryony Pitman (GB).

Barebow Senior

On the women’s side, Alicia Baumert overcame some early qualification mistakes and secured a fantastic individual bronze medal.

Among the men, there were no medals despite great performances:

- Lars Sörlie (Norway): 9th place

- Pawel Marchwika (Poland): 29th place

And to finish, Giuseppe Seimandi (Italy): 4th place, just missing the podium after a tight bronze final against Sweden’s Leo Pettersson.

Barebow U21

The future looks bright!
Both Ollie Hicks (GB) and Ludvig Rohlin (Sweden) were on fire in U21.
Ollie was simply dominant, finishing 1st in qualifications with an incredible 722 points, 17 ahead of Italian champion Simone Barbieri !

Ludvig, ranked 2nd, met Ollie in the final - an all-Uukha showdown - with Ollie taking the gold.

Team Events

The medal run didn’t stop there!

Ollie and Ludvig also claimed team gold (Ollie) and mixed team gold (Ludvig).
Alicia and Aurélie both completed the perfect sweep - 3 medals out of 3! Time to add some extra weight to the luggage!
